Basalt is actually the most common rock on Earth’s surface and is typically the first to be issued from any volcano.

It is a fine-grained, black rock, extremely versatile for both inside and outside usage – we have provided this stone for innumerable kitchens, bathrooms, split-face finishes for water-falls, even basalt basins and entire bath-tubs.

INTERESTING FACT: Some of the most well-known head-and-torso figures – the Moia – on Easter Island, off the coast of Chile, are made of basalt, averaging a height of 4 meters and weighing 14 tons.
